Rug Insurance & Storage

Most homeowners insurance policies cover Oriental rugs sent out for cleaning. However, if you are concerned about coverage for full value, Sharian’s rug cleaning experts will be happy to discuss insurance options with you.

We also offer storage for customers who are moving, renovating, or just don’t have the appropriate space for their rugs. All wool rugs must be moth-sprayed before storage, and cleaning and treatment charges must be paid within 30 days. Storage charges are 10 cents per square foot per month, and long-term storage charges are billed annually. At least a three-day notice is required before pick-up or delivery of any rug in storage.
